Computing

Our primary computing curriculum is designed to align with the national curriculum requirements, aiming to inspire and equip all pupils with the essential skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital world confidently and creatively. Our intent is to foster computational thinking, digital literacy, and an understanding of the transformative impact of technology in our everyday lives.

We teach children how to stay safe online, emphasising the importance of protecting personal information, recognising potential online threats, and understanding the principles of respectful and appropriate online behaviour.

The Purple Mash scheme of work is used from Early Years to Year 6 as it provides a high quality, well-sequenced and progressive curriculum framework.
